28C Tire Recommendations

I am looking for a good performing 28c tire, with a strong preference
for blackwalls which eliminates the Rivendell RolyPoly. The tire will
be used for longer club rides where the additional width should
hopefully bring a bit of relief from the chip seal roads of the
Northwest. I understand the realities of going to a size larger than
23/25 will bring up the weight, but I would like to see if there is
something that doesnt weigh in the 500g range that I see many of the
28c tires at. Good wet adhesion would be a plus as well.
