I don't think you'll have a problem. I'm pretty small myself - 5'0" and have pretty small hands, but I still take a medium in most woman's gloves and haven't had a problem finding them in any LBS. I do find that the fancier and more padded the gloves are the more they make my hands go to sleep. My favorites have all been cheapies, plain black Bells until I lost one, and I think I currently have Avenirs. -
my favorite are fox full finger xs gloves for mtb. for road riding, I wear medium speciailized body geometry comps (or something close to that).
the foxes fit me perfect! (I'm 5'2"😉

I was just thinking about getting gloves the other day! It's been relatively cool in the mornings here in Sydney (finally!) and I tend to get REALLY cold fingers. I'm pretty tiny too! So yes, keep the replies to this thread coming so I can look around for gloves!
Oh, I have a question about gloves too! Full finger vs the ones with the tips cut off. What's the difference in terms of use/performance/feel? Do your hands ever get sweaty in them?
