Postal Victory...

I think that US Postal probably has their agenda for this tour pretty well planned. I think we will see their strength in the mountain stages.

that was some ride by bianchi too! i would love to see a battle royale armstrong/ullrich like 1989s between lemond/fignon. racing against the likes of ullrich is the only way for armstrong to confirm himself as a great champion

ullrichs looking good considering the events of the last year. mind you that was a lot of rubbish - i mean taking a pill at a club while not even racing. like an amphetimine will aid his performance in the tour this year! any other sport (soccer,..) he would have been made a god!

yeah it was a great ride by the posties especially since they were behind at most of the checks.

But is that surprising? It was always likely that Simoni would lose a lot of time in the time trials.

i said in another thread that simoni would loose as much as 10 mins to armstrong in the tts . what surprises me every year is the teams who talk about winning the tour yet not getting the riders capable of doing a good ride in the ttt.

it was a so great race from them!i taped it and i'm going to rewatch it again 😉
i expected simoni's team to lose lots of time,but not 3 minutes!now his chance to challenge King Lance r less than zero....
