  1. I'm familiar with the habit of ingesting a high carb, moderate protein
drink immediatly following a workout. More and more articles I'm
reading also discuss even greater benefits by possible splitting this
drink up and ingesting half of it before the workout. Just wondering
if anyboy has been consistently doing this. I'm curious if anyone has
actually noticed any difference, such as in soreness or general
recovery. I personally am a bit leary about gulping down this kind of
a drink right before working because of potential nausea on leg days
or during high rep workouts. Any experience would be appreciated.

  2. Where'd you hear this [censored]? One at least 2 hours before will help, but
most people think these work instantly, and they don't. It will improve
    your endurance, and shorten recovery.

Are you an elite athlete ?? Body builder ?? Unless you are REALLY into
it don't worry about it too much...not going to make THAT much of a
    difference.

  4. The only diffrence it could make frome my experiance is that you will
better digest the protine if it is taken at diffrent times throughout
the day. If you take toomuch at once your boddy will take what it can
and you will wast the rest. I take in about 200 grams of protine a day.
I take 40 in the morning, 40 about an hour before my workout in the
affternoon, 40 about an hour affter and 40 latter that night. The rest
    I get from normal eating.

Testosterone magazine. One of the writers was commenting on a study
that was done and found a pretty significant difference in the
positive effects of a postworkout drink that was also consume pre
workout. You can check out the article at this link:

It was pretty interesting considering the results.
