  1. If you don't mind a choice of just 2 patterns Tcibo are offering their
equivalent at £2.99. Picked up one in thier Salisbury shop today and it
works just fine; obvoisly a bit more expensive mail order ( www.tchibo.co.uk
and click on hiking gear) due to the postage.

I was wearing one tonight. Its a cold night, and it was very cosy around
    the neck.
Its a thicker fabric than my own Buff, so I think they both have a good
use. Besides ny black buff with reflective strip makes me look like
    Pepe Le Pew.

Which reminds me, this morning is the start of Aldi's mini-selection of
bike stuff. No clothing, unfortunately, just bottles, saddles, h*lm*ts,
cheapo bikes, locks, and cooler bags.

They also do light-sabres for dark-siders.

They're white, unfortunately. Not bad for a fiver, but I really want a
    red one.

It wasn't a completely wasted trip, though. I picked up a gubbins to
    detect cables in my walls.

Firebox have a rather nice lightsabre, but I couldn't possibly justify
    spending 100 quid on one:

They had some a couple of years ago for £50, which I found in Woolworths
reduced to £20. Unfortunately they only came in blue :-(
