  1. I rode over some glass and now my old tires (700x25) are just full of it. I'm planning to purchase a set of 700x23 tires. My inner tubes are fine and can be reused. They are 700x18/25c. Can I use them with a tire sizing 700x23? If not what size of inner tube would I need? Thanks for your time. 🙂

Yeah 18/25 should be fine with 23mm tires

Whoa that was a fast reply, Thanks topcat! 😄

  4. Try some tyres with Kevlar belting in them, Continental Ultra GatorSkin 700x23c will be my next choice for the road bike. 🙂

  5. Yes mate, the tubes will fit just fine.

You might want to consider an intermediate size like Vittoria Open Pave CG. They are 24mm section and ride brilliantly.

They aren't the cheapest, but they are top tyres!

    Cheers

What did you think the 18/25 designation meant? 18mm min to 25mm max........ Just make sure you use front tubes in the front and back tubes for the rear, then you'll be fine.

Absolutely, mate! If you mount them wrong and you have clockwise in the front and counter clockwise in the rear, you'll go nowhere fast!
