  1. Campagnolo brake levers on Deda Aero bars, I'm scared to tighten them down anymore for fear of crushing the insert where the carbon and aluminum tip join together...

Anything I can try?? I was thinking about wrapping a piece of old innertube around the clamp area to take up some space??

    Thanks in advance

  2. Sounds like it might work...I've done similar things in other applications. I also play drums, and the bass drum pedal clamp was too big for the rim, so I used a bit of stretch cord folded up to do the same thing - take up that extra space.

Only thing you have to worry about is rubber doesn't last forever - it will crack and come apart. So, there is a possibility that this is only a temporary solution.
