9/10 speed, 21st Century model.
Hub had exhibited friction unrelated to
"play" lockring location on the axle.
Upon dismantling,
Outer (right) freehub cart bearing is really grindy- I'm going
to replace it. To avoid hassling the regs here,
I combed the archive. I'm inspired by Suzy Jackson's intrepid
technique(s) but I guess the outer bearing is nowhere near
as hard to get out as the inner? Luckily, the inner,
pawl-side bearing feels totally smooth.

Any more advice about this replacement?
Others who've done it?
Unfortunately the Campag Freehub instructions
leave this subject untouched.
Do I need a J-tool or is tapping out OK?
Apparently it is a

Thanks and spring cheer,

ps: Thanks again to Suzy the awesome.
