Any US source for Dugast tires?

  1. Just curious - are there any US retailers that stock Andre Dugast road tires? The only one I've seen so far was strictly cyclocross.

    I don't really need them, but many years ago, when I was scratching for the money to keep a set of cotton Clements on my road bike, I promised myself that one day I'd buy a set of silk tires. I know they're not cheap, but I think it's time to keep that promise, and Dugast looks like the only source for silk tires.

    Peter White Cycles carries Dugast, but I believe stock only the cottons ones, but they may be able to get the silks http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/tubulars.asp

  3. There was also an LBS in San Francisco that could get them, but I can't recall their name. 😕 Last I heard, they were selling the top Doogies for around $200. each.
