    Hi-

I need advice and opinions on the following subject--competitiveness
during workouts. When is it going too far and crossing over into
    annoying?

My reason for asking is a team mate makes EVERYTHING a competition
against me. This is a teammate who blatantly dislikes me; it is really
hard to like her due to this fact and the fact that she has to make
everything a competition and must win. She does this to other team
mates as well. It doesn't make me swim faster but really gets under my
    skin.

So, bottom line question is, when is competitiveness going too far?

    Thanks.

    KP

Mind your own business and ignore her. If she addresses you directly, don't
answer, act distracted or busy and involved in something else. With lack of
a response, it will become un-interesting to her eventually.
