Hi Elisa (and all who have expressed concern). He had the surgery this
morning and came out of it fine. They still don't know if this will correct
the problem. He was told he'll be in the hospital at least 5 days and will
be monitoring the blood flow. The first check showed a slight increase. My
mom was concerned about that but I pointed out he'd only been out of surgery
for a few hours. Time will tell.Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts.
