Wheel not gripping well

Dear Joel,

You might have slowly gotten used to much lower pressures on
your previous tires as they lost air without being checked
and then pumped your new tires up to what you mistakenly
thought was normal pressure.

An autopsy--er, pressure gauge would tell us much more.

Yes, probably.

It could also be the rebound adjustment on the rear shock ( if you
have one).. it has to match the characteristics of the tire and the
tire pressure and the terrain.

Maybe. What was the pressure you used?
