Hi-
It has been 7 years since I have done induction. It worked great the first
time, ended up losing 50 pounds in 4 months or so. I have pretty much been
labeled the low-carb girl by all my friends by the way I still eat.
I was down to about 150 lbs for several years, I am 5'10" so fairly thin and
content at that. However, I have a medical problem, and started a new
treatment that made me stay in bed and basically stay sick for 3 days a
week. For about 6 months. Therefore, I didn't exercise like I used to and
easy meals seemed to do the trick. I am not an eat out girl, or a fast food
burger and fry person. But I think that the immobility and sickness helped
unmotivated me. I picked up some bad habits that I shouldn't have.
At any rate, I have gained a lot of weight. I am not at 175lb OMG! More than
I have been in a long time. Every morning consists of me trying on every
piece of clothing I have to try and cover my fat ass.
I woke up on Monday morning and decided to do induction again. It has been
awhile, so I cant hardly remember what to do. I lend my Atkins book to
someone who never returned it. So I am trying to just to eat whole foods,
meat, cheese and veggies (either broccoli or salad) I have done pretty good
this week. I haven't lost any weight though and ended up being sick on
Tuesday night. I woke up in the middle of the night with the stomach flu,
throwing up and out all night long. Yesterday was a struggle, cause when you
are sick it is hard to be motivated.
I know I can do this. It is a lot of weight to loose. I have to do it
though. I am not happy being overweight.
If any of you have any favorite induction foods, please share.
Thanks for reading if you did. I guess I had a lot to say, this is about
the only place I can say it though. I know some of you understand.
