  1. I so would like to boil and pickle some beets. 2 med 2" diameter boiled
beets have 10 carbs minus 2 fiber so 4 carbs a beet. I so want vinegary
veggies!!!!! Does anyone in here pickle veggies using Splenda?

  2. I don't but Mt. Olive does, their bread and butter pickles made with Splenda
    are out of this world.

No, but I bought some Vlasic pickle relish made with Splenda.

Alton Brown (Good Eats) just did a show on beets, and I wanted to try some
of his recipes. If beets only have 4 grams effective carbs per beet, I'm
    in!

Do you like the Vlasic pickles? They were way to sweet for my taste and
all I use is Splenda. JMHO

The low carb relish with Splenda is a lot less sweet than their regular
sweet relish. I did always enjoy sweet relish on my hot dogs, but that's
    about the only place.

I have not seen that, but I buy regular relish and dump the stuff in
a large bowl of running water and rinse well and then return to
    bottle. Then use conservatively.

Relish would be a nice. We have a few low-carb stores out here in Vegas.
I'll have to nose around a bit. Thx

I found the Vlasic relish with Splenda in my local grocery store right next
to the almost identical bottles of the regular kind.
