I was behind a big, bulky guy last week--when I had a tailwind (yes,
occasionally such a thing exists). I couldn't help myself from saying to
him: "Where were you when we had the headwind?" I like to see really big
people riding a bike. Everyone who rides is helping himself/herself. They
are building stronger hearts and lungs as well as muscles.
Jen, cycling is not easy for anyone! It is a character builder AND a
character revealer. Think about that for a second. If you can stick with
cycling until you are soaring like a bird, you will receive the results you
wanted. Anybody who does it deserves respect.
