hi all, i race with the 4s on the road, what would the equivalent me on a mtb? i'm a pretty quick 4 and i'm 25, if that helps. thanks.

4s? You mean cars?

He means cat 4's.Its hard to compare cats to divisions in mtb because mtb isn't just about fitness, it also has alot to do with trail riding ability.I would start with the beginners(who just like in any other sport are hardly beginners)class and see how that goes.Usually the only diff between beg. and sport are how many laps you do and ofcourse speed.

thanks. yeah knowing the lowest category is in road racing i figure that the novice class of mtb isn't gonna be really novice.
