I wish everyone well, and harm to noone. I do like Saffy, I think she is a
wonderful woman who loves people. This is something we have in common.
I confess I like to tease her because I have that faulty trait of teasing
someone who makes my heart smile, and she does. But it is nobody elses
business,. not really a topic for discussion, and as far as I'm concerned,
Saffron's life and habits are hers, and not mine or ayoine elses business.
She didn't ask for this, and I wish everyone would leave her alone.
I'm fine, Jim. I'm not NEARLY as emotionally fragile as I used to be
-- I'm more pragmatic now. We all see the world through the colored
glasses of our own experiences, and it's hard to see things from
someone else's point of view sometimes. The bottom line is that I have
my reasons and it works out well for me. I'm not constantly driven by
the raging hormones and cultural expectations that I used to have, and
I'm physically limited in what I can do logistically, so I choose to
put my energies into things that are important to and/or necessary for
me. If someone comes along whom I really like and who is willing to
put up with these limitations, that's a different story, but I'm not
going to go out looking for it, nor am I going to put myself on display
like an overripe tomato waiting to be picked when I'm perfectly content
doing my own thing. My life is pretty boring to most people, but if
*I'M* okay with it, then what's the problem? We all have our own
drummer -- it's just a matter of whether or not we choose to listen to
it or fight it.
