  1. Michael is getting a 26" wheel bike for his birthday, so we don't need
the triplet so much. We're going to get a tandem for the school run.

Bike Friday Family Traveller looks good at around 2k with toys, Orbit
Zodiacs are on blowout at £600 (but 5 speed) and Orbit Libra at £900
looks good, too. We've tried the Bike Friday, but has anyone tried
    the others?

We like the idea of the small-wheeled tandems because the school bike
gets parked in the kitchen. After a couple of summers tripping over
the triplet we're keen to get something a bit more compact :-)

Have a look at the Mission Duet Cromoly - I've got three and they are
very good tandems - if joe public can't break them they must be good.

I've been very happy with my Bike Friday. The frames are amazingly stiff
and the folding makes them easy to store compared to a full size.

Probably at the end of Summer, yes. I don't know how much for yet,
though. One careful owner, 2,000 on the clock...

I'm definitely interested as I have only one seat on Igor and several galley
    slaves..
