I wonder if they'll have the SON XS dynohub as a standard option on the
new models? I think it would be a useful thing if it was.

well equipped tourer too!

Studying the machine in the picture, its rear hub doesn't appear to have a
hub gear. So its either a single-speed, or a derrailleur gear system.

There appear to be three cables going over the fold, so the derrailleur
looks a possibility. However, that could just be the 2-speed system from the
current range.

Well I must confess to being dissapointed. No real gearing change. No real
model change. Just add on expensive bits which really all that they do is
make bike a luittle lighter. No-I will most certainly not be ordering one or
indeed any of the add ons.
One sad Brompton enthusiast.

Well, they have brought out a two-speed and a single-speed. That sounds
like a gearing change to me even if it is in the wrong direction for
some people. It might be nice to see an 8-speed but it seems as if they
are holding fire until the SA hub has had some serious testing.
