Bah.
IQ tests are meaningless. Sure, they might be able to measure some
abstract abilitiy when it comes to mathematics, pattern recognition and
spatial comprehension, blah blah blah. I took those all the time when
I was about 18. What do they tell you? A number. Big deal. For the
record, I also got a 140.
The real question is: What are you going to do with your life? IQ
tests don't measure whether a person has goals, how committed he/she
is, nor if their goals are in line with anything remotely realistic.
Oh, and they tell nothing of how you deal with other people or
creativity problem solving, which are probably much bigger factors in
acquiring wealth, status, success and a happy, fulfilled life than what
some online test tells you about yourself.
Same thing for all those who want to join Mensa. What's the point? To
sit around drinking cocktails talking about how smart you are and how
difficult life is when you're a genius? No thanks...
