Campag racing-t derailleurs and magura?

I wouldn't but Magura levers with Campagnolo Bar-Con
controls is one answer.

Hard to beat a cheap cantilever for general braking
performance - good clearance, modulation , peak power, ease
of maintenance, availability of spares, light weight, fault
tolerant, etc etc.

You give up most of those virtues with a Magura _brake_.
Thems the _breaks_.

I'd agree : but almost obsolete it seems. I went to two bike shops
yesterday - neither of which sold brake pads for cantis - was all
V-brake & blocks for sidepulls. Couldnt believe it.

Need a new bike shop. Canti pads and blocks are plentiful. The bike
shops are being lazy if they don't have blocks for cantis, calipers,
vbrakes.

and they only have 3 colors of tape but that doesn't mean
you have to choose from that list.
