(poor thing is dyyyyyyyyyyyyyyying in my refrig.)your califlower dies in fridge? my cauliflower tends to grow in the
fridge. one or more of the stems will grow longer, the growing stems
will kind of turn greenish (but not moldy). -
Cut your cauliflower up and put it in a container full of water, it will
keep longer and be nice and crispy. I love raw cauliflower, can just grab a
couple of florets for a snack. If it's that handy it will get eaten
quicker, too.In news:[email hidden],

I made Larry a killer caulifower and broccoli salad the other night. I
cut the small buds in bite size pieces, added a little chopped garlic(
I use fresh garlic cloves that I have had stored in vinegar), bacon
bits, small diced celery, a shake of dehydrated onion, shredded cheddar
cheese, and a couple shakes of Tomatoe Splash ( From Trader Joes, It's
dehydrated tomatoes, sesame seeds and spices) You could use a bit of
firm chopped sun dried or reg tomato. I made a simple coleslaw dressing
with mayo, white vinegar, squirt of yellow mustard and Splenda and
balanced the tang and sweet out. I put enough to lightly cover the
veggies and let it sit in the frig all day. He loved it!Laureen

Really?? I'll try that. Thanks for the tip!
I have followed the advice of a fellow asdlc-er and started eating the
cauliflower stalks - I find that I actually like the stalks better than
the florets, but I have yet to try to eat them raw.FOB said:

Don't know about tonight, but last night had a couple of smallish Turkey
drumsticks with steamed cauliflower on the side. I drizzled the cauliflower
with Trader Joe's Garlic oil.Steve
