90 volunteer hours, that is.
The sky looked gloomy and it was sprinkling. Not good for a clean up day.
Things didn't look good when we had the wrong key and had to wake the
caretaker to unlock the gate for us. Then, Mr. Adventure rigged the magic
tarp ( if you rig the tarp it won't rain....) and we waited for folks. The
cloud cover broke up and then
24 hard working souls showed up to clean up. 15 or so truckloads of [censored]
later(not literal thank god) our pile looked like this:

I wish I could write a real inspired report but I'm just happy it's over.
The shops donated an amazing quantity of really excellent stuff: floor
pumps, tires, jerseys, tools... well worth waiting until the end.
My hats off to the crew, you guys were awesome.
And why am I not surprised that some people are oblivious, whether it's an
XC doing laps right though the sign in area, or other riders sessioning,
"yeah man that's cool" but do they offer to help? Of course not. No schwag
for them.
Here's more pics.
