fathom out how to do.
Its the dogs wobblers, especially when posting [censored].
I didn't ask the question first just in case I was the only user
here...didn't want to rattle on for nothing! I've searched all over the
WWW for an answer but nothing found..I find any tips/FAQ's for the
newsreader to be pretty thin on the ground?
Anyway, previous to Thunderbird I used Gravity, previous to Gravity I
was a M$ LookOut user.
My version of Gravity is 1.0 (is it worth updating if there is one?).
Right, my problem...
I currently have Thunderbirds view set as "Threads with Unread", the
window view is set to "All". In Gravity I had a view set up so that I
could view any posts that I made, but showed along with other posts in
that thread. I can view my posts by setting the window view to "From
Me" (not rocket science that one!), but it only shows my post and no
others which is not what I want.
Also, whats the best way to flag a thread that I particularly want to
follow...do I "label" it, do I "flag" it?
At the moment all I do is read the threads I'm interested in, hit
"shift/control k" on ones I'm not, or "shift/control c" to mark the
thread as read. Is there a more efficient way to set it up...how do
others use it?
Sorry if these are basic questions but I used Gravity for many years and
really want to make a permanent switch to Thunderbird, I love it's
functionality and robustness.
Cheers in advance.
