In XNEWS %a is Name and %f is name and e-mail. Possibly it is the same
in Agent. In XNEWS I use %a wrote in %m:

Second: I, personally, haven't a clue. There _are_ two newsgroups for
forte.agent, though. There are a few help souls that read-and-post to
both regularly. They're veritable fonts o' knowledge. Also, Tech Support
from Forte is AWESOME. I can't say enough kind things about their
collective response times with non-canned answers.

Got some help over in the Forte Agent NG.

In place of the default %from% , which creates both the name and the e-mail
address, use %full-name% . So now we both know.

Not such a hot idea, as far as I'm concerned. It is one thing when the
person's nick or name is something unique or unusual, like "Damsel in
dis Dress"; it is another when it is something almost generic, like
"Bob". In the latter case, the e-mail address is the only real
identifier.

Why? I was just arguing against removing e-mail addresses - they,
together with the name/nick, are there for a reason. Anything else you
choose to add could still be there.

ObFood: The other day, I cooked something akin to kalya, an ancient
Russian fish soup, or rather broth, which was traditionally made with
"red" fish, such as salmon or sturgeon. Nowadays, it is sometimes made
with salt-water fish.
First, I made a kind of court-bouillon with fish fond and water and a
lot of vegetables, namely celery (roots and stalks), parsley (roots and
leaves), onions and carrots, as well as peppercorns and salt. A bit
later, I added some potatoes and waited until they were half-cooked.
Then I removed all the solids, but added back the potatoes, as well as
some saffron threads steeped for a bit in hot broth. Then I added a
couple of halibut filets and cooked them in the broth for about 15
minutes. After 5 minutes of cooking fish, I added some separately
boiled dill-pickle juice (salty, not vinegary). Before serving, I added
a bit of lemon juice. The soup was very nice and we ate the lot (which
was a lot).

Why? I was just arguing against removing e-mail addresses - they,
together with the name/nick, are there for a reason. Anything else you
choose to add could still be there.
