  1. I had a walk up to the delectable Beacon Fell at the south end of
    Coniston Water this afternoon as the sun came out. There are unrivalled
    views of the Coniston Fells and the full length of Coniston Water from
    here...and not a soul to be seen. Photo's are posted:

    I really enjoy your Outlier TRs....think my favourite was Stickle Pike.

    Perhaps its just the combination of the views plus tarns and the
    interesting foreground.

  3. Thanks, Stickle Pike is a personal favourite of mine. I have visited it
    many times over the years. It has remarkable views on a clear day.
