Sigma is more of a hard-core roadie shop. Evans, also a 2 minute ride
away, is probably a better match for Thameside. It's a shame that
Kingston apparently cannot support 3 quality bike shops.

Evans have a better stock than Thameside ever had, but I liked the spirit of
Thameside. I may start using the shop on on the Ewell Road -> Tolworth ...

Cyclopedia.
I have used all the cycle shops in Kingston over the last few years and
reckon that the experience is almost exclusively down to the quality of
the person you get to deal with. I've had mostly good but occasionally
less good experiences at all the above mentioned shops.
Pity about Thameside. Bought my MTB there and had alot of good advice
over the years. I wonder if they were hit by going exclusively MTB when
road bikes seem to be coming back into fashion ?
