To be honest I was thinking it was April 1st...
I wasn't taking it serious and trying to see how it played out. I was
aware there was no long conversation with Elzi and I was also aware Elzi
had no interest in patching things up.

Actually Keith, I know you won't believe this, but I just had a private
communication from Elzi and she did say that she was on the verge of wanting
to patch things up and that if Hudson hadn't played that prank she might
have made an overture.
When we were discussing things in Calgary this was basically a non-issue.
But we were very heavy into discussing training and technical
considerations of both speed skating and olympic lifting. We really didn't
get into personalities except to note MFW was no longer serving well as a
forum to discuss training and science.
That's a tad pompous and elitist Keith and doesn't sound like you.
I have been involved with MFW for quite some time now and it has never
been a forum for discussing "training & Science" in any deep and
significant way.
There have been a very small number of people, who appear to swap
endless heaps of scientific jargon for the purpose of impressing the
rest of us with their scholarship.
Given that this is an un-moderated forum, then you and whomsoever else
is so inclined to "science", can post just whatsoever they damn well
please. But please acknowledge the right of the rest of us to do the
same.
The vast majority of posts have always been centred around the
miscellaneous part of our description, and quite a large percentage of
those have been personal attacks - including a large contribution from
Ms Volk.
The fact that she attracted some fierce opposition, formerly from
Lysis, and latterly from myself, might suggest that she perhaps is not
the innocent victim she is now attempting to portray. I could say
more.....
I have told her often to try being nice and stop being so brittle.
It's as simple as that really!! ;o)
