Not generally...
You are probably short on essential minerals.
Try taking a good, balanced mineral supplement with Calcium, Magnesium
and Phosphorous, and stay well hydrated.
If you do it right, this should stop.
I get the most muscle twitches when I get low on Magnesium.

Some people get this, some dont. I get it in my arms (brachialis),
delts, and quads mainly.
