"Easter Eigg" TR - very short

  1. Two friends and I spent a beautiful weekend on the island of Eigg (one of
    the small isles west of Mallaig).

    On Saturday we did a very quick ascent of An Sgurr. Sure its "only" 393
    metres but the views from the summit (helped by unbroken sunshine) were
    really quite outstanding. Particularly the views towards Rum which looked
    spectacular. Great views to the south (Ardnamurchan), Muck and Barra, South
    Uist etc.....

    If you're looking for a wee peak with a difference check out An Sgurr - we
    will be back....
