It's my opinion that the Headshok Super Fatty Ultra DL would be great for trials since it is stiff
laterally, very lightweight, and has an on the fly lockout that lets you go rigid any time. Having
the 80mm of travel otherwise will help you not jolt your brains out on the landings. It comes on the
F400, F600, F800SL, F1000SL, and F3000SL bikes. Of course... these are set up as regular mountain
bikes, and not trials bikes... but you could make modifications as you see fit.

That's what I've got on my trials bike. Super strong fork.

Unless you have a headshock ready Cannondale frame, you won't be able to install a headshock. And if
you have a headshock frame, chances are you have the headshock that came with it.

They've changed the lineup this year. Added two new Lefty's and made the Ultra Fatty 80mm
instead of 70.

Doh! (I ride an Iron Horse Desperado) I was hoping it would be an easy upgrade 🙂

Aside from the Headshok, are there any other single shock forks that would fit a generic bike like
mine? I am looking for a light-duty fork with at least _some_ suspension, because I do an equal
amount of XC riding as well.
