    Prize Coffee Cake
    Bisquick Cheese Bread

    Hi! All,
    It's been along time since I posted on Usenet. It's hard to believe
    I've been on the net and using news groups for over 10 years.
    Here are a few tried and true recipes. I hope you enjoy them.

    Mom D's Cinnamon Flop

    1 cup sugar
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 large egg
    1 cup milk
    1/4 cup butter -- melted
    cinnamon sugar

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8-inch cake pan with nonstick
    cooking spray. Stir together sugar, flour and baking powder. In separate
    bowl, combine egg and milk. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients. Combine
    the flour and egg mixtures and place in cake pan. In 2-cup microwave-safe
    measuring cup melt butter. In small bowl, make cinnamon-sugar, if needed.
    Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar over cake batter. Drizzle cake batter with melted
    butter. Bake 30 minutes, or until done.
    Makes 1 cake.

    Prize Coffee Cake

    3/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup margarine -- softened
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup brown sugar -- see directions
    1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon -- see directions

    Mix together thoroughly sugar, margarine, egg. Add flour, baking
    powder and salt. Add milk. Stir together and pour into 9-inch square
    pan. Make topping by combining brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle
    over cake batter. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 to 35 minutes.

    Bisquick Cheese Bread

    1 large egg
    1 1/2 cups milk
    3 3/4 cups Bisquick(r) baking mix
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Beat egg on low speed of mixer. Add remaining ingredients and beat 1/2
    minute medium speed until blended.
    Pour batter into greased loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
    Bake 1 hour or until golden.
