  3. I'm currently running a Creepy Crawler but will return to my Monty
(Luna?) when it wears out. It's really grippy, but the sidewalls are
just too thin and it folds too easily. Plus, it won't fit snugly in a
KH frame (the top rubs a little).

  4. I have limited experince with a variety of trials tires. I have only
used the Monty and Luna on 20" trials and the Luna seems to hold up
really well, good side wall strength and the grippiness seems great. I
normally ride about and 30 min. to an hour a day and I'm getting about 4
months wear (if I remember correctly) out of the Luna. To maximize the
longevity of the tire I do rotate it 1/4 turn as it begins to show signs
of excessive wear where I tend to hop and turn. How much wear do other
    riders get from tires?

I assure you all, the Luna is far better than my ability to push it to
    the limit.

  5. I have a Maxxis Creepy Crawler and I have to say that I dig it. I run
it at a higher pressure (like 35ish) and I don't get any fold overs. It
fits fine in my Yuni 20" frame as well. However, I do not know how fast
it wears down. I have had it since January and as of now it still has
about 85-90% of its tread left.

  7. There are a bunch of monty tires out there that all look similar but
have different compounds, I have used the skinwalls, whiteline and black
wall. I must say that I like the black wall monty's the best as they
have a thicker sidewall, good amount of spring when hopping and grip
really well. From the little I tried the Maxxis tire I really like it as
    well.

The whiteline and skinwall have a thinner sidewall and I find them to
fold over too much I currently have a whiteline on my uni and while it
is not my fav. it still gets me by.

Monty also has a new yellow line tire out that Im not sure the
properties of, but from what the trials bike riders were saying at
motorama they are nicer than the white line and easier to find than the
    black wall.

    Cheers, Mike

I am currently running a creepy crawler on the old norco frame with no

  10. Hi,

I use the Try All at moment. It is very similar to the Maxxis (except
    the profile). Also very Sticky.

... but I use it with a 47mm wide Try All rim !
