Here's some basic info to start with:

    http://www.regency-town-house.org.uk/regencyhistory/life/mealtimes.php

Try searching Jane Austen (watch your spelling, it's AustEn, not
AustIn), also Napoleon (I think his chef invented a different way to
cook chicken for every day of the year?) for some ideas.

Basically there aren't any specific dishes that you would immediately
associate with the Regency era. High Tea is the closest thing I can
think of, it got started in the late 18th century and has been a
fixture in British life ever since.

Here's another site that talks about the 18th-early19th century, but
there's not a whole lot in the way of foods on it:
    http://www.georgianindex.net/fd/index.html
There's still some good info to be found there.

No, don't try the SCA - the time period they cover ends at 1600.

You will find quite a few ideas and recipes at the Jane Austen Magazine
    Web site at
