  1. I recently bought some Nike shorts, which
are labelled as 'spinning shorts', they are a heavier
material and have a lot of padding. On a couple of
rides I have got on well with them.

I saw Ron Hill Enduro bike shorts on Wiggle.
Anyone know what they are like - is the material heavier
than normal lycra shorts? Any good?

I've always thought Been Bag shorts would be the ones for
me - sadly out of business now I gather.

If you're after a heavier material than the normal lycra "thinnies", try
    the Endura MT500 shorts.

I've got a couple of pairs of those and they're fine. The padding is
quite stiff, though. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it makes them
an awkward shape for hanging on the line to dry after washing.
