  1. Last night I hit my pinky toe on the dinning room table leg I put ice on it and noticed that is was at 10:00  I was not in pain so after waking up it was still at 10:00! I went to the emergency room...three hours and an xray later revealed that I had fractured my pinky toe! If this has happened to any other cyclists please tell me how it went and how long before you resummed your passion to ride your bike ?

  2. Oh, brace yourself, I broke my pinky toe this winter and it hurt substantially for about six weeks, and still is a little sensitive about 10 weeks later. Walking hurt in most shoes (big wide merrills are the best), but barefoot was no problem after just a few days. Interestingly, biking in tight road shoes didn't really hurt. I was on the trainer a week or two after the incident (the leg of my bed!). With me, it was flexing the shoe that hurt the toe. Your experience may be different. But prepared for weeks and weeks of annoyance.
