Why don't you get the shimano d/a 10sp chain instead?

I don't know a thing about the mavic so I'm not one to comment. In general btwn chains it seems like there's a lot of differeneces marketed but when I'm on the bike pedaling away I'm not going to notice whether I've spent 20 bucks or a hundred bucks on the thing. Maybe slightly better shifting may be had with nicer chains, but I tend to stay with a campy chain on a campy cassette, shimano on shimano, because it works fine. Don't fix what aint broke. A 100+ connex would be nice to have, but I'd rather save 70-80 bucks and get an ultegra-level one. At the end of the day, how well you maintain it is the bigger deal w/r/t performance anyway.

  7. Thats what i thought when he told me tbh.I think hes got the mavic now but at least i have the two to use and will be able at some point decide myself whether or not there is actually a difference.Cant see it tbh.

Cant wait for the weather to get better and try the new bike out because it will hopefully be finished at the end of the month.Ive been riding a 12yrs old dawes bike with Reynolds 531c tubing and pretty much basic campy equipt. So my new bike should feel great.
The thing is, i just want to get it right and put all the correct equip on it.Im sure itll be fine.Think i worry a little too much.
    Thanks!!!!😄
