The only grip "strengtheners" I've ever used have been Captains of
Crush grip trainers. And yes, they've made my crushing grip stronger.
I could just about close the Trainer model when I got them, but now I
can close the No. 2 occasionally. Not every time, and never for more
than one rep, but it's still an improvement. If I devoted more time to

use those grip things unless you want to get a whole new wardrobe for long
sleeved shirts. I started using them until I found I could not get the
sleeve over my forearms and people were wondering why I always had my
sleeves rolled up. Everywhere I went I had to roll up my sleeves and people
basically thought I was showing off my muscly forearms when in fact I was
too cheap to buy new shirts. -
