While in Cancun, I came across a dressing labled "Green Sauce" or "Green
Dressing". I can't remember which. It was very mild, almost like an
Avacado Ranch. I have searched all over the internet and the closest
I've found is Green Goddess, and it's a lot more 'twangy' and bold
compared to this.
You might try this one. It's called Green Goddess but not the same as
some of the clones. Terry S. Seguin, Tx.
Green Goddess-Chive Dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup fresh chives, coarsely chopped
1 green onion, coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled
1tablespoon tarragon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, or 1/2 teaspoon dried
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Season
dressing to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared 3 days ahead.
Cover and refrigerate.)
