No, not left-handed, or we'll get into arguments about toeing again. Her indoors, having recently
invested in a bike with better gearing than mine, decreed a picnic in Abingdon tonight; and a jolly
good jaunt it was too. Absolutely flat; but then she has higher gears than me as well as lower ones.
But the feature of this trip was the number of abandoned brake blocks I saw. I estimate about one
every six miles, although there was one pair of V-brake blocks complete with scattered chrome
fittings. What's up? Is it the weather?
