I have a set of freeweights and a bench, the only thing I need is a fitness
program.
Is there any *good* websites which help you construct a workout plan?
Please help,
Thanks in advance

There are many good websites but you need to give us a more specific
goal than "fitness" - fitness for a particular sport, for cardiovascular
conditioning, for weight loss, for bodybuilding contests, for strength -
for what?

http://www.billpearl.com/bpprograms.asp has a great workout plan that
can take you from beginner to advanced weight training
I was planning on gaining muscle mass ideally.
Thanks for your time

I'd Google "hypertrophy-specific training" - you'll find lots to read.
I'd also visit http://www.bodybuilding.com. Here's a search on HST -
http://bodybuilding.com/cgi-bin/perlfect/search/search.pl?p=1&lang=en&q=HST
You might also look into "Power To The People!" by Pavel Tsatsouline
where he talks about the "bear" protocol, basically a heavy set of 5
followed by a long rest, a second set of 5 that's about 10% lighter,
then knock another 10% off the bar and do sets of 5 on short rests for
as long as you reasonably can. Good for big compound exercises like the
deadlift and squat, done 3x/week.
The book "20-rep squats", which you can find on http://www.ironmind.com,
is considered a classic for gaining both size and strength by many.
Last but not least, Pavel's got a new book out that's along the lines of
20-rep squats but it gives a ton of different routines, not just one.
That one is called "Beyond Bodybuilding" and you can find it here:
http://www.kbnj.com/bb.htm
That should give you enough reading to keep you busy for a while.🙂 Get
a rack so that you can squat without a spotter and you'll be all set -
$200 and up.
