About panniers

Try Jandd Commuter panniers. I have 4 of them on two of my bikes and they work great. They're also big at 1750 cubic inches each. I don't know if they're waterproof because I never used them in the rain. Try searching the web for info.

I ended up getting an "Office-Bag" as it suits my needs (carrying files, paperwork) and looks good in the office environment. The Ortlieb QL2 suspension system is awesome - easy to attach and remove yet extremely secure.

I gather the Back-Roller Plus or the Back-Roller Classic are the most popular choice of Ortlieb rear pannier.

Here's a link to a website whose owner has conducted a pretty comprehensive investigation into panniers. The info is a bit dated. Draw your own conclusions about its ongoing validity.
