i have a chart where i track my weight. i noticed the other day that i was
on low carb for exactly 1 month. i weighed that day to see what my total
was for the month....... i lost 25lbs? that sounds extreme to me, and
honestly im wondering if thats dangerous or too fast. is this common? from
what i've been reading, folks are trying to lose about 5 per month. maybe
some info about me would help? i'm 28, no real meds, just birth control...
highest ever wt was 315, and im at almost 215 now. i still have a bit to go
to hit goal at 150, but its well on its way.
also, another question, my husband is dropping a lot of weight. he's lost
12lbs this month and he was at his goal of 172 last month when i started lc.
i'm trying like mad to get him to eat more dense carbs, while having him eat
healthy, but his appetite is only so big. we cant afford two sets of foods,
so since i need to lose pretty bad, he decided to lc with me. will low carb
drop him too low? do you think he will stop somewhere? at six foot, 160lbs
isnt horrible, but its low for him. any lower and im going to be real
concerned. he's very muscular and atheletic and while its nice seeing the
muscles show thru more and more, im worried he will drop too far. plus
12lbs in 1 month is a huge percentage for him at his weight.
any ideas? please help.
