Isn't it absolutely wonderful. I get out of work and its still light
out. Soon I will be able to ride my bike to work. I am still not
comfortable with riding at night. Last night we had a birthday party
for my father who is 85 years old. He can still ride a bike. Do you
believe that? I made him try mine. He's still got it. My brother fell
on his ass. It's amazing to me.

Hey don't be so quick to give up all that "free A/C" not to mention the
wonderful lack of bugs and pollen! ;-)

Except for icy conditions, it's pretty easy to find reasons to relish the
cold and even the wind (instant hills!). Myself, I'm loving all the 40+
degree days we're having (Lat 38).

I have to admit to being surprised when I looked out the window at 6:15 and
reckoned there was still enough light to ride from 5 to 6 if I got out
late.

I'll give up the free A/C anytime. We are expecting another blizzard
in Jersey tonight. Of course I do not have President's Day off. So I
will either be digging my car out tomorrow or deciding to take a sick
day. I am more than ready for the nice weather.
Sunny days at the Jersey Shore, cheese fries, vacations, and finally
getting a chance to ride everyday after work. Getting through the
winter makes a person appreciate the warmer weather. There is
something to be said about living in a state with 4 seasons. Well
actually a three season state would be nice. Fall, Spring and Summer.

Yep, I was out in my ag2r/Prevoyance team kit this weekend
and it's warm enough to wear bibshorts with knee warmers.

Due to personal reasons I didn't do Malaysia's Tour de Langkawi
or the Jacob's Creek Tour Down Under this year so I've gotten
up to speed by applying Coppertone's Self-Tanning solution to
my legs.

With three coats of Ethoxdiglycol dihydroxyacetone on my legs
and the way I'm riding no one can tell I didn't line up at the
start in Menara Kuala Lumpur at the end of January!

gets a little cold on the fingers (temps +/- freezing,)
but it's rather pleasant to occasionally heave-to at

my coffee al fresca, and re-warm my gloves by sitting
on them. Many of the coffee shops here have metal chairs
