Yeah, late 80s-early 90s Athena/Daytona level - I believe these were also
called "monoplanar"....

Ummm... I think the Chorus brakes were "monoplanar"- the right arm was
split, and the left arm fit in the fork over the center bolt. The
pictured caliper is probably Athena... but I'm better at Shimano of
that era than Campy.
