  1. Hi,

There was a blurb on TV today about someone named Kurt Osburn who in 72
days road his bike from the Guinness Museum in Hollywood California to
the Guinness Museum in Orlando, Florida ... a distance of over 2800
miles. You're not impressed? Well, read on. Kurt, known as the
Wheelie King did so entirely on the rear wheel of his upright bike.
That's why he's known as the Wheelie King.

  2. Yo JimmyMac,
Did you lube up his asshatchet leather slither for that ride.
2800 miles is a long way to go on an UPWRONG with no
    JimmyMac linseed lube.

  3. Readership,

I've previously gone on record regarding my opposition to platform
pejoratives. Ed Gin (Fred, JohnnyNoCom et. al.) are fond of
inflammatory terms such as asshatchet and UPWRONG, the latter
purposefully SHOUTED in all upper case was for my benefit because Ed
knows that I find that term particularly objectionable. This slur
upwrong belies Ed's prejudice and his disdain for those whose cycling
platform of choice differs from his own and does not meet with his
approval. I, on the other hand, am in favor of camaraderie in the
greater cycling comunity and have long subscribed to the notion that
cyclists should be united by what they do rather than divided by what
they do it on. I believe in unity through diversity ... velo-diversity
if you will. Ed Gin is entitled to his opinion just as I am to mine.
Please note that the Wheelie King post made here was informational in
nature for all to enjoy and was well outside the boundaries of the
ongoing flame war, but that did not seem to in any way shape or form
hamper the obnoxious troll Ed Gin, posting as Sock Puppet Fred, from
    being his usual adolescent self.
