5 pounds! No, let me make that: FIVE POUNDS!!! Yay!
I haven't done too well this month, but I started weight-lifting at the
beginning of the month, so my weight not going up means I'm burning fat and
gaining muscle, so I'm not terribly upset about the 'stall'.

Thanks Chakolate 🙂 I'm sure that's the reason for your slow month.
I'm reading that it's common. It's nice that you're gaining muscle. I
wouldn't worry too much about the stall.

Up to date stats here as well. I didn't meet goal this month, only lost 4
pounds. Came down with flu, followed by pneumonia. As a result I've not been
able to exercise for about 3 weeks. Without exercise, I can't loose, in fact
the first week, I gained weight. I wasn't eating, but my metabolism is so
messed up from dieting for almost 40 years that any stoppage in exercise
messes up weight loss.
This time I am NOT going to let this throw me off track. I can and will
loose weight! I will start back exercising in the next few days. I need to
stop the "rip my throat out coughing jags" before I can do anything that
stresses my breathing. Yes, I have been to the Dr. I've had multiple
prescriptions, it's just going to take a little more time. I am focusing on
the fact that I DID loose weight this month, and will do better next month.

I hear ya! I have to be very careful with my exercising because if I do
too much (for ME) while I'm rundown, I WILL get sick. It's frustrating,
but that's the way it works for me. Don't push yourself if you aren't
up to it. If you have a relapse, it will take that much longer to get
back into it again.
