  1. So im new to this whole fixed gear bike riding and im riding without brakes and was wondering if anyone could describe how to do the whole skid stop technique or other techniques to break. and im currently running 42x15 gearing with flat pedals. thanks

  2. Either apply backwards force, or for quicker stops and worn tires, you bunny hop, stop the cranks, and skid...repeat as necessary...carefully come to a stop. Have you seen this http://www.63xc.com/gregg/101_1.htm ? Sheldon brown also has a bunch of info and links. http://sheldonbrown.com/fixed/index.html
