  1. I'm looking to purchase a wheelset for the new bike i'm building. I was originally only going to spend 200 hundred and get the supergo brand korso wheels, but now i'm not too sure if i should just suck it up and get a set of bontrager select or race. I know the race is a nicer set and slightly lighter, but i'm still relatively new to cycling so would is it worth it to get the race? I don't want to spend more than around 300 dollars. So should i stick with the supergo wheels or should i go for the bontrager race or select wheels? I'm welcome to other suggestions. Thanks

  2. Get the Bontrager Race wheels. I've got a pair of Selects and I think the Race wheels have a different/better back rim, so while the weight difference is negligible, the rims aren't.

If Supergo is still selling Wheelsmith open pro rims laced to ultegra hubs with butted spokes for $200, that's the best bang for the buck around.

    Well they aren't. They're selling them for $189.95. 😄

What about a set of FSA RD-200? I got one at E-Bay for $200 +ship. and I tink it was a great deal.

I use a set of Bontrager Race Lite with a 11-21 cassette for racing and the FSA RD-200 with a 12-25 for trainning or very hilly races.
