amazing, no? the day of plastic mount failure caused by jamming the
mount over the bar moves further into the future.
the rider screws the lamp's mount on unstressed then eases the mount
over the shim just so and removal in reverse order also unstressed.

or tape the shim on before yawl lose it!!
